Healthy Eats: ‘Apple bites’ a healthy alternative to Halloween sweets

Take a healthy break from Halloween sweets with apple bites. This non-bake recipe will have little ghouls snacking in minutes.


Ingredients & Supplies:

  • apples
  • almond slivers
  • kitchen knife
  • orange juice (optional if not serving right away)
Cutting in half

Quarter and core the apple.

Cut a wedge from the skin side of each quarter.

If not serving right away, baste or dip the apple slice with orange juice to prevent browning.

Press the slivered almonds in place for teeth.
