Healthy Eats: Strawberry heart wands make heart-healthy treats
Strawberries are nature’s heart-shaped snack, so why not incorporate them into your Valentine’s Day celebration? With this healthy non-bake recipe, you’ll be offering up a sweet treat to your sweetheart within minutes.
Ingredients & Supplies
• cutting board
1. Rinse strawberries then cut in half, lengthwise.
2. Cut a wedge at the top of each strawberry to remove the stem.
3. Slide four to five halved strawberries onto a skewer. Be sure the skewer runs along the length of the strawberry and that the strawberries are facing in the same direction.
4. Allow for enough room at the bottom of each skewer to be used as a handle.
