Photo Gallery: 2nd Annual Royal Hawaiian Tweed Ride

Participants of the second annual Royal Hawaiian Tweed Ride on Saturday sported traditional British cycling attire in an effort to recreate the spirit of a bygone era in Hawaii’s history.

They rode their vintage-inspired bicycles on a seven-mile tour from Fort Street Mall to Queen Kapiolani Park, visiting various points of interest along the way, including Walker Park, Iolani Palace, and the Frank Fasi Civil Grounds bike route expansion site and bike repair station.

Although the tweed ride is originally a British bicycling tradition, the Royal Hawaiian Tweed Ride has made it their own.
